Covance Central Laboratory Services has extensive logistics experience and long-standing relationships with couriers. We staff regional experts with regulatory knowledge of customs and import/export criteria. These factors enable us to provide high-quality and cost-effective shipments of clinical trial specimens from anywhere in the world.
We provide our customers with logistics consulting via a proprietary logistics consulting tool called LabLogistics™. This tool stores continually updated information on country-specific specimen shipment regulations and conditions. LabLogistics can help you select the best and most cost-effective couriers for a given country and specimen type.
To assist your worldwide sites and to assure accurate delivery, Covance provides all the necessary International Air Transport Association (IATA) certified packaging materials and pre-printed documentation for all types of shipments, whether infectious, diagnostic or frozen on dry ice. Standard training documentation is available in English, French, German, Italian or Spanish. Dry ice services can be arranged in most countries. |
